An Enjoyable Visit from Cleaford Christian Trust
Written by Daniel Hristea
Last week we enjoyed a visit from The Cleaford Christian Trust, a team of 7 lead by Angus Cleaver, the founder and leader of Cleaford Christian Trust based in Surry England.
Angus and the Cleaford team has supported our charity for the last 7 years in many ways, by circulating our needs and making our projects known to many interested people in the UK and abroad or by sending direct financial help or many donated items, such as educational materials, toys, blankets, stationary that can be given out to the children and families in the village or distributed through our shop at Ziurel, which raises funds to support our educational centre in Sacele.
It was great to be able to spend time with the team and share about project ideas and get some valuable advice. We visited the Better Homes Project in Tarlungeni, our carpentry workshop in Zizin as well as the new Workshop in Garcini area started last year and to be finished by June 2010. The Cleaford Christian Trust played a very important role in supporting the start of the Better Homes Project in 2007 and we have now discussed the possibility of building a small Community Mission Centre in Tarlungeni which would serve the village as a further development of our involvement in the area.
Thank you, Angus, Sheena, Danny, Rob, Jonathan, Jo and Andrew, for the time spent with us, it was such a valuable time to have you with us and the singing was great, Rob and Danny thanks! We are already looking forward to your next visit. Our whole team sends their regards!
